Honest Answers

The questions
you actually have.

No deflection. No vague consulting-speak. If the answer is uncomfortable, we still give it to you straight.

01
Consulting Engagements
Questions about audits, process, pricing, confidentiality, and what to expect when you work with WVW.
All raw data is handled with strict confidentiality. Individual responses are anonymized and aggregated so no one can be identified. Raw data is used only to produce your customized diagnostic report and recommendations — we do not sell, share, or repurpose your data for any other purpose. After the engagement ends, we securely delete or return the data per your organization's preference. Our goal is diagnostic honesty — never exposure.
The goal is straightforward: surface the actual root causes of burnout, low psychological safety, and staff turnover — not the surface symptoms leadership already knows about. We use the data to show exactly where systems (workload design, supervision, accountability structures) are failing people, even when intentions are good.

Looking forward, the data becomes evidence. We help you redesign sustainable infrastructure so people can stay and do meaningful work without sacrificing their wellbeing. As we work with more organizations, aggregated and fully anonymized insights will allow us to speak publicly — as a trainer and speaker — about the real patterns we're seeing across the sector. This builds broader evidence for systems-level change in nonprofits, behavioral health, and mission-driven spaces. No fluff reports. Real patterns. Real fixes.
We design every audit with psychological safety in mind from day one. Participation is voluntary where possible, responses are anonymous, and we coach leadership on how to receive hard truths without defensiveness. The process itself models the culture we help you build.
We deliver honest, evidence-based reports even when they're uncomfortable. Part of our role is helping leadership receive and act on difficult truths without blame or shutdown. We don't soften findings to protect feelings — we frame them in a way that makes action possible. Organizations that aren't ready for that conversation usually know before we start.
We don't do pizza parties, generic webinars, or performative check-the-box work. We diagnose what's actually breaking using validated tools and frontline experience, then help you redesign the systems underneath. Led by someone who's done the operations, HR, case management, and advocacy work — not just studied it.
No. We partner with nonprofits, behavioral health agencies, senior care settings, tech companies, and government entities of varying sizes — nationwide and globally. If you're serious about structural change, size isn't the barrier. Readiness is.
Most diagnostic audits take 4–8 weeks depending on organization size. Full implementation and redesign support ranges from 3–12 months. We customize timelines to your pace and capacity. Every engagement begins with a 30-minute discovery call — no proposal before we understand your situation.
Yes. Many clients move into implementation coaching, leadership training, or quarterly check-ins to ensure changes stick. The Executive Advisory Retainer exists specifically for this — ongoing organizational intelligence for senior leaders who want a thinking partner, not just a one-time report.
We track pre- and post-engagement metrics around psychological safety scores, burnout risk, staff retention intent, and qualitative feedback. Success looks like sustainable systems — not just a nicer survey score. We're not satisfied with reports that don't produce change.
Yes. We work fully remote, hybrid, or in-person across the U.S. and increasingly globally. The work is the work — location doesn't limit honest diagnostics.
Nonprofits, behavioral health organizations, senior care and HIV services, LGBTQIA+ advocacy, government agencies, tech companies, and community-based organizations. The common thread isn't sector — it's mission-driven work done in under-resourced, high-stakes environments where burnout and dysfunction carry real human costs.
Every engagement is covered by a mutual NDA. All data is handled on secure platforms — nothing lives in unprotected email threads or shared consumer tools. Survey responses are anonymized at collection. Qualitative interview data is de-identified before analysis. We can discuss specific security and confidentiality protocols during the discovery call for organizations with compliance requirements.
WVW pricing reflects the labor, methodology, and expertise that produce meaningful organizational change. We occasionally work with adjusted pricing structures for organizations with demonstrated financial constraints — assessed case by case during discovery. Starting with the free Burnout Risk Self-Assessment is always an option for organizations that aren't ready for a full engagement.

WVW Academy
Questions about the CHW Certification Program, format, eligibility, and organizational wellness training.
WVW Academy's CHW Certification Program aligns with nationally recognized CHW core competencies as defined by APHA and relevant state health authority frameworks. We are committed to program design that supports employment recognition. Specific employer recognition varies — we encourage prospective students to discuss this with their current or prospective employers.
The program combines in-person sessions in the Washington DC and Maryland area with online learning modules. Exact format details will be confirmed at enrollment.
No prior professional experience is required. WVW Academy's CHW program is designed for adults who may be entering the health workforce for the first time, including those with lived experience as community members. What we look for is commitment, self-awareness, and a genuine orientation toward community service.
Tuition pricing for the current cohort will be announced when enrollment opens. WVW Academy is committed to accessible pricing and will offer payment plans. We are also pursuing grant and employer partnership funding to support participant subsidies. Join the waitlist to be notified of pricing when it's confirmed.
